Research

Wading through regulations from a government agency can be extremely time consuming and be a major headache for the business owner. Before we ever start working with a new customer, our Research Team thoroughly researches all applicable regulations and agencies that affect the business for federal, state, county, municipal, air district, and fire district levels of government.

We make sure that nothing is missed and customize our training classes, written programs, customer support, and compliance assessments to the specific regulatory environment that your business is in.

Quarterly Compliance Assessments

A local compliance expert from GMG EnviroSafe will personally visit your facility every quarter and will last 1-3 hours depending on the size, layout, employee count, and complexity of the business. The audit will be comprehensive in nature and cover the following content areas:

  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Inspection & Maintenance Logs

  • Equipment Utilization & Best Practices

We will provide an exhaustive compliance scorecard for your business detailing all areas of potential liability and the corrective action required WITHOUT disrupting your business or processes.

Comprehensive User Guide

Depending on the type of business and location in the United States, your business is required to have a series of 5-7 written programs that document the various policies, processes, training programs, and strategies for a wide range of topics (Hazard Communication, Spill Prevention, Illness Prevention, Injury Prevention, Respirator, etc.).

Most business owners don't have the time to generate page after page of how to handle these issues and a generic template bought off the internet won't help because it isn't tailored to your business.

Through our research and assessment process, we will build you customized site-specific written programs that are required by the various regulatory agencies without you having to distract yourself from your business to provide us the information.

DocuSystem

Regulatory compliance is known for the overwhelming amounts of paperwork and documentation that is required to be maintained at the facility. Most business owners aren't sure if they have everything that they need or even where it is located in their filing system.

We will set-up and implement our own compliance filing system that we will also  maintain throughout our relationship to ensure everyone in your business knows where the very important documents can be found in the event an inspector knocks on your door.

Classroom Training

Online and written training programs can be great tools to help educate a workforce, but without question your employees will benefit more from a live instructor that can discuss specific workplace scenarios, review your layout as a group, answer questions, and provide real world examples.

Your employees are ultimately accountable for how effective your safety programs are within your business. Our program gives them a much deeper level of comprehension of the material and engages them in thoughtful discussion on the following topics:

  • OSHA Right To Know
  • Hazardous Chemical Classification
  • Routes of Entry in the Body
  • Chemical and Container Labeling
  • SDS
  • Spill/Leak Procedures
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Annual Respirator Training
  • Welding Safety
  • Company Safe Practices
  • Injury & Illness Prevention
  • Emergency Protection Plan
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Pollution Prevention
  • Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Lockout/Tagout

Hazardous Chemical Inventory & SDS

Your business more than likely has several hundred different chemicals and materials that require SDS documentation to be on hand at all times. These records are often very difficult to maintain for the business owner and even harder to get quality information for the technicians because they are stockpiled in a binder and gather dust in a corner.

Our Chemical Specialist Team will work directly with your vendors to build a customized database of your chemicals in your facility and post all required SDS in PDF format for each. Your employees will then be trained on how to access it through our website for quick references and easy navigation.

Safety Meetings and Management Bulletins

The one thing that we are certain of is that there will continue to be rapidly changing regulations that affect businesses like yours all over the country. We stay at the forefront of our industry by working directly with the regulatory agencies to learn what will be coming into force down the road to prepare ourselves, but more importantly you and your staff. Our meeting topics and bulletins distribute this information to all of our customers.

Permits, Licenses, & Reports

Ever wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what form you need to complete to renew a permit? Then even more time trying to figure out how it needed to be filled out? Never again with The Compliance Department. Our Research Team collaborates with Customer Care to be able to complete all of your required permits, licenses, and reports on your business behalf. All you need to do is review and sign on the dotted line!
